TRENTe-six for Loughborough!

The opening ten minutes of the match on Pitch 4 at Quorn saw some strong tackling and good work at the breakdown. The pressure forced a penalty outside the opposition 22 but Will Hogg's attempt at the posts drifted wide. It was not long before we registered our first points when an excellent break from Will Worth was finished off by a strong pick and go from Dominic Fergus. The conversion was successful. It wasn't long before we once again crossed the Trent line with Josh Paisley breaking through tackles to score in the corner. The first half ended strongly and strong attack saw Will Worth grab a try before the break.

Half time 19-0

Loughborough started the second half on the front foot and Hogg once again had an opportunity to add to our score and duly slotted over the penalty. A number of injuries gave all players the opportunity to gain valuable game time. Players moving to different positions did not break our rhythm and a further two tries were added by Worth and Toogood. It was a fine team performance and the commitment of all players was excellent.
